Reid Doesn't Share Food

Here's Reid- 

*wearing a pajama top - because he wasn't feeling a daytime shirt that day and I don't have time at 6:15 am to battle it out.

Happy Birthday, Ti.

Ti's birthday is at the end of August, & she requested a shark cake. I used red icing on the inside. I thought it was hilarious.

In August we went back to school, hung out, went to a festival & played!  

Evan's First Day of School

Evan started Kindergarten in August. He was so stinkin' excited to ride the bus & finally be a big kid. His day had a little surprise a couple hours later- he puked on the playground & had to go home sick. It was a "puke & rally" situation like it usually is with him, but they wouldn't let him stay. The 2nd day went just fine. He loves his teacher and has made a ton of new friends. It's also great to be 5 minutes from his school- we are so used to driving 20+ minutes to do a lot of things- his school being close us great. 

NOLA

Mike & I went to New Orleans for the weekend at the end of July. The company he works with for his annual DC trip sent us. It was the first time we had been anywhere for more than a day without the boys. It was tons of fun- we saw all of the sites & ate a lot of cuisine...including a new love of mine beignets.

Here are the good July pictures. 

Reid loves yogurt. We call him Yogurt Boy sometimes because that's all he'll eat...sometimes we call him Hunger Strike. He's just not into food. 

Evan had a great time in swim lessons. We've come a long way since he started them the summer he turned two. He swam across the pool with no help by the end of the lessons this summer. :)

 

It's Been A While

I finally downloaded the Blogger App on my phone...maybe I'll update more often now...maybe. 

Here we are at the Indiana State Museum this summer. There was a Star Wars Exhibit. It was all about the science behind Star Wars. Pretty cool.
