Pumpkins!

Evan went on a school field trip on Monday. Mike went with him, so they both got to pick apples and take home a pumpkin. We made apple dumplings from scratch on Monday night to use up the apples. (They got dropped a few time on the way home.) The pumpkins were too small to carve without getting frustrated, so we decided to paint them again. This time we wanted them to look like something. We decided on Mike from Monsters, Inc. & Elmo. Evan & I tag-teamed the effort and here are our final results.

Ah, Two.

Our little Reid really is sweet. He definitely has his moments though. This guy can hold a grudge and get very upset if somethings aren't just right. He is great to tote along in his stroller. If tired, he will take a snooze where he's at. His older brother didn't do that. ;)

The boys & I drove up to Miss Alea's mom & dad's house on the lake in September. Both boys LOVED the boat ride on the pontoon. Reid showed his two year old temper to them (he must really like them- not too many people get to see that). Evan got to drive the boat & then the boys went swimming on the shore. Fun! Fun! Fun!
